University Women of Europe: Meet and Greet in Amsterdam 9 - 11 May 2014

The purpose of the Meet and Greet (9th of May till 11th of May) is for the University Women of Europe to obtain in-depth information on UWE’s work in the Council of Europe and the European Women’s Lobby for interested members of NFA’s, potential members and candidates, CERs and presidents of NFA’s. There will be ample time to meet and talk with each other on topics in relation to the UWE, your own NFA and of course to encounter interesting women from all over Europe.

We offer three workshops:

• Work of the European Women’s Lobby 
• Work of the Council of Europe and the International Non-Governmental Organizations Conference for which UWE has participative status. 
• How to cooperate using digital means. 

Furthermore we will offer a variety of events to make your stay in Amsterdam as pleasant and inspiring as possible. Amsterdam is sometimes called the Venice of the North with its many canals and lovely houses. We will have the Meet and Greet in a new part of Amsterdam close to the center and a top location for those interested in Modern Architecture. For this reason we have organized a guided tour around this well-known area.
